3P is a new program of InWEnt Capacity Building International, Bonn.
Decision makers on central and municipal level as well as the key players of the local economies, the banking sector and potential local performers of public private partnerships (PPP) models are seldom able to recognize and utilize the potential for PPP at this moment, due to lack of information and qualification.

As a consequence, with support of InWEnt a regional functional PPP competence network called 3P BALKAN Net is being created. The network will offer consultancy services regarding PPP for decision makers on one hand and enables contacts with potential PPP investors and operators form Germany and Western Europe on the other hand.

Project goal is the creation and testing of a trans-national competency network as platform for know-how transfer, economic and technical cooperation and trans-national collaboration.

3P BALKAN Net will be technically supported by the PPP competence network of North-Rhine Westphalia, which is an extraordinary source of know-how. It also possesses a wide-ranging experience in practical implementation of municipal PPP and shall cooperate with 3P Balkan Net on a long-term basis.

We expect that the network will be acknowledged by the potential cooperation partners through suitable information dissemination and public campaign activities.
